San Lin Hsi (Cedar Grove Tea) 300 grams *NEW* Certified Organic
We have gained access to a supply of one of Taiwan's best vintage teas, San Lin Hsi ("Cedar Grove Stream"), grown on an old plantation located at 1,800 meters altitude in the central highlands of Taiwan. This is one of the few areas that was not devastated by the 2009 typhoon. San Lin Hsi displays the crisp, clear ching hsiang ("light & fragrant")
flavor for which Taiwan oolong is so famous.
It's fresh floral overtones, laced with a trace of fruity flavor, produce a rich smooth taste when the tea first hits the palate, followed by a subtle dry aftertaste that clears and soothes the whole mouth. An excellent early morning tea and at $40 for 300 grams represents excellent value.
